PROJECT - Crowdsourcing [CS]

Crowdsourcing (CS) works well for Wikipedia - though it took a lot to accomplish that. But, not so well in the Boston Marathon bombing tragedy - CS made a mess. This Project examines what PRO Research is really all about - the development of ideas and knowledge through Crowdsourcing.

DOCUMENT 1 [CS-01] - First on the block is "Copyrighting for Crowdsourcing":

~ How does copyrighting apply to crowdsourcing on the internet?

      ~ What can be copyrighted?

      ~ What can't?

~ How do you do it?

~ What happens if you don't?

~ And - How do you use or cite something that is copyrighted?

These, and more, are the questions this Document will answer.

What to do: (1) Download the document "Copyrighting for Crowdsourcing" above (42 kb, ext docx); (2) it's new so there's not much to read; (3) make additions using MS Word Track Changes; and (4) return your revised version of the document by email to PROresearch2000@gmail.com. If you don't want to add anything but have comments about it, you can send those comments to the same email address or by using the Contact page of this website.

Acknowledgment: Of course, unless you'd rather remain anonymous, your name will be added as a contributor to that version and all subsequent versions of the Document.

DOCUMENT 0 [CS-00| - You can start your own document on "Crowdsourcing" for, of course, crowdsource development and editing. Just send us your idea and any draft documents relating to crowdsourcing.
